This is has been the worst rental experience at The Pulse. After the tenant dies they refuse to return the deposit, due to not fulfilling the remaining term of the lease. How would a dead person rent an apartment? They even make you sign an addendum to the lease that you are responsible for the removal of bed bugs due to the infestation being so bad. They take no responsibility for the infestation and blame the tenants. Pest inspections are a joke. They notify you that they will be... inspecting and no one every shows up.

This property has bed bugs throughout. Please don't risk your belongings or livelihood to live here. It has cost many of us former tenants over $6000.00.

Been here going on 2 years and am quite pleased with the management and staff. I have rarely seen any bugs of any kind unless it was going into an old vet's room who could no longer take care of themself properly. The Owners keep pouring money into the building month after month with new Air,
Elevators, etc. We are right on a bus line if you don't have a car or can't drive, and within walking distance of several more not to mention the Trolly. No one could ask for a better maintence / management... team and I'm happy to report your going to get what you pay for and a Bonus...The lobby sounds like a studio!

Thank You for the nice review, we are strive to make each resident have a wonderful experience at The Pulse. Our renovations are about 80% complete and our apartments look wonderful.Still have some items on the renovation table like the lounge and... hallways. We have a wonderful maintenance staff who are efficient, friendly and will help in any way possible.

So let me start out by saying that the property manager Penny is a very nice woman, she was one of the reasons I decided to move in. I moved in to "The Pulse" March 2018 when it was still "Park Towers" and just moved out March 2019. IF YOU MOVE HERE READ OVER YOUR LEASE BECAUSE EVEN IF YOUR LEASE ENDS IF YOU DO NOT GIVE 30 DAYS WRITTEN (not verbal) NOTICE THEY WILL KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT.
Also, I battled bed bugs for 10 of the 12 months I lived here and talking to other residents confirmed they are... on every floor and in the walls so if you move in, despite their "exterminators" coming in and spraying THEY WILL ALWAYS BE THERE.
Also, only a few of the floors are "renovated" (they will show you the 4th floor that's renovated and promise that ALL apartments are going to be renovated, it won't happen (maybe if you're there longer than 2-4 years you'll see the renovations) and if you like walking down hallways that look like something out of The Shining, then sure rent here.
Oh, and there are two elevators, one FINALLY was renovated and fixed but consistently breaks down (on the weekends nonetheless which is awesome) and the second one still had not even come close to being fixed when I left in March so, don't count on having two solid working elevators.
And don't even get me started on some of the crazy things that went down when I lived there. RENTER BEWARE.

We are sorry your experience at The Pulse was not a happy one for you.
Both of our elevators are brand new, finished in early May and we understand the frustration during their long hard installation. Replacing 60 year old elevators was trying....
As for your Lease agreement asking for a 30 day written notice that is standard in lease and actually more lenient than some who ask for 60-90 day written notice.
All of our apartments are renovated prior to new tenants moving into the building and 80% are completed. The hallways are still on the renovation table while we wait to complete the new fire security system in the building.
As for the bedbugs, we occasionally have a tenant who reports a bug problem and we strive to address the problem as quickly as possible so the bugs are eradicated and do not spread. If someone had a bed bug issue for 9 months of the 12 they lived here, they did not notify management of the problem so we could help them eradicate the pests from their unit. Buildings do not have bed bugs, residents do.

I moved in 4 months ago and I love it.The office staff and maintenance take care of any requests in a very efficient manner. Penny stays on top of the community by sending out text messages to keep everyone up to date on what matters. You can't beat the price for all the amenities. 5 stars!!!!

The property does not have bedbugs throughout, but we have had an occasional tenant with a bedbug problem. If any resident has a problem with any type of pest we encourage them to let us know so we can get the unit treated ASAP. We have not charged... any tenant for any pest treatment and we have successfully eradicated the problem when the tenant has been diligent by following the instructions given by the exterminator. We exterminate and rid each unit for any type of pests as soon as they are reported to the office. Ongoing problems with any bugs has to do with the resident doing their part to clean and de-clutter the apartment prior to exterminating.
